Clocks for Sale

Longcase / grandfather clock for sale

Longcase by Maple of London, circa 1900's

A quality grandfather clock made of solid oak throughout, in a lovely honey hue. A really solid and sound construction.

I would date this clock around 1890-1900, so strictly speaking, it is a "reproduction" of earlier models. It is of great quality, as you would expect from a Maple Clock.
The best materials have been used and it has been built to last, as a result it is not likely to give nasty surprises when it comes to being serviced in the future.

DIMENSIONS: Height 2 metres 3cm (6' 8'')

                          Depth 27cm (10 5/8'') in depth.

The widest part, at the top, is 54cm (21 1/4'').

This lovely clock would add quality and style to any interior.

It strikes the hours on a gong, producing a very deep sound

Commemorative Limited Edition Atmos Clock

cal 550, 1978 - No225 (only1500 were made)

- in superlative original condition -

.

This model commemorates 50 years of the Atmos clock, first made in in 1928

It is a copy of the original clock, including the poising of the hands, which is on the wheels rather that on the hands like in modern models.

The only difference is that internally there is a standard modern bellow, like the one you would find in the cal 540 (longer life expectancy)

The case is made in the old traditional 1-piece construction, it is satin gilded, it has a very nice tone and is in superb condition

All the glasses are bevelled .. (with no chips or scratches)
Mechanically, it  is in perfect condition and it performs beautifully.
The clock has been fully serviced and thoroughly tested.

For your peace of mind, it is sold with 2 years guarantee.

Do not confuse this model with the cal551

Because of the success of this clock, which sold out very quickly, Jaeger Lecoultre, between 1980-1988 produced the cal 551.

The cal551 looks similar, but it has an open dial and it was made in a much greater number

Nice and very elegant proportions

White Marina model, cal526, 1970's

- in superb original condition -

The Cal526 is one of the most successful calibers. It can run well for many years between services and it has pleasant dimensions and functionality.

Mechanically, it  is in perfect condition and it performs beautifully.
The clock has been fully serviced and thoroughly tested.

The bellow is fine, with the gas at its optimum level and a new suspension has been fitted.

Externally the clock is in superb condition, with just some minor crazing to the edges of the top lucite panel. To the best of my inspection, this is all.

Just to be on the safe side of the description, I have to add this :

"please expect some minor wear marks on the case, as this clock is nearly 50 years old"

I can promise you that you would have a very difficult job in finding another Marina in these conditions.
